When you sign in
Signing in with Google or GitHub gives this site your name and email address. They are stored in Supabase, the database this site uses, with a record of what you bought and which version of each release you last downloaded, so your library can tell you when a newer one is out.
Signing in does not put you on any mailing list.
Release emails
Your library has a box, unticked until you tick it, for emails about new releases and new versions of ones you own. Only people who tick it get them. The choice and when you made it are stored; untick it at any time, or reply to any of these emails to be removed.
When you buy
PayHere needs your name, phone number and address for the card payment. They are passed to PayHere and not stored on this site. Card details go straight to PayHere and never reach this site.
The newsletter
If you join the newsletter, your name and email are kept so I can send occasional posts. Reply "unsubscribe" to any of them and you are removed.
Payment waitlist
While card payments are being set up, a paid release offers "Notify me when I can buy". If you tap it, your request is stored with your account and you get 1 email when that release can be bought.
Dilly, the site assistant
What you type to Dilly is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to write the answer. This site does not store the conversation.
Who your information is shared with
Only the services that run this site, each for its own job: Supabase (accounts and orders), PayHere (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, the newsletter list and Dilly), Resend (sending email), and Google or GitHub (signing in). Information is also disclosed if the law requires it. It is never sold, and there are no ads.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no outside analytics or advertising scripts. Your sign in is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in; signing out removes it.
Visit counting
To see how many people visit and which articles they read, the site counts page views itself. It stores the page, the day, the country Cloudflare reports, and the site that sent you there, if any. It does not store your IP address: you are counted as a code made from the day, your IP address and your browser, which changes every day, so you are counted once per page per day and cannot be followed from one day to the next. An article counts as read after 30 seconds on it and scrolling half way. Browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are not counted, and neither are known bots.
How it is kept safe
The site is served only over HTTPS. Account and order records can be read only by this site's server, not from the browser. Paid files sit in private storage and are reached through download links that expire after 60 seconds.
